HVAC/Refrigeration Technician
The Morey Organization, a leading family recreation destination in Southern New Jersey, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of HVAC/Refrigeration Technician. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing and completing work orders; installing new refrigeration and HVAC equipment systems; troubleshooting mechanical failures and performing equipment maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment; and advising on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units.
Minimum technical requirements include:
- HVAC Certification/Universal EPA Certification for refrigerants.
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- 5-10 years of experience as a HVAC/Refrigeration Technician is preferred.
- Braising and soldering skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, compliance schematics, and work plans.
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills, including fixing defective/broken products and ordering replacement parts.

- Strong math skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to troubleshoot.

- A positive attitude and guest friendly mentality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Physical requirements include working in confined spaces; lifting equipment and other items up to 75lbs., unassisted; able to climb stairs and work at varied elevations including rooftops; able to perform physical work including standing, walking, crawling, pushing, bending, and stooping; able to work in varying weather (rain, wind, cold temperatures, direct sunlight or high heat and humidity).
