Maintenance Technician - Seapointe Village

Seapointe Village, a premier vacation destination, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Maintenance Technician. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure condominium properties remain safe, clean, and fully functional. This role includes maintaining building systems, completing minor repairs and renovations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and assisting with property upkeep across the facility. This individual must provide consistent, friendly, and helpful service to residents, guests, vendors, and fellow team members.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting general maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
  • Inspecting building systems and reporting deficiencies to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Performing minor repairs such as fixing locks, repairing fixtures, patching walls, and replacing worn components.
  • Troubleshooting cable TV and internet service issues.
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks and maintaining records of repairs and installations.
  • Assisting with minor renovations and installation of new equipment.
  • Investigating maintenance requests and addressing issues in guest rooms, common areas, and condominium units.
  • WOrking collaboratively with other team members, vendors, and contractors when necessary.

Additional preferred competencies include:

  • Two (2) or more years of maintenance experience in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • PC proficiency, including email and maintenance software to input and complete work orders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and coworkers.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move 40+ lbs., including furniture and equipment.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent; bilingual skills are a plus.

This is a full time, benefitted, year-round role in Wildwood Crest, NJ offering a competitive hourly wage ($21/hour) and comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other perks. Work schedules vary based on seasonality. During the primary season (May-October), technicians may work up to 50 hours per week and must be available for weekends and holidays. During the off-season, schedules typically consist of 40 hours per week with primarily daytime hours, though flexibility may be required. Work is performed onsite and may include both indoor and outdoor environments.
